Join us in celebrating the 10th Anniversary of Sculpture Month Houston!
Since its inauguration in 2016, Sculpture Month Houston (SMH) has served as a vibrant forum for sculpture and installation art, inspiring artists to push the boundaries of spatial concepts within immersive environments.
Our flagship venue remains the striking Site Gallery at The Silos at Sawyer Yards, a decommissioned former rice silos complex. Its towering structure contains 34 cylindrical silo spaces of varying size, that has been thoughtfully transformed into dramatic art venues, providing a unique, site-specific backdrop that amplifies the power of its installation art.
The exhibitions provide a truly immersive experience as visitors are encouraged to enter the individual silos and engage directly with the art. Frequent tours and artist’s talks promote a deeper understanding of the work presented as well as educational experiences for the general public. We also provide tours and subsequent discussions for high school and college students.
The 10th Anniversary exhibition is titled Singular Visions and it honors artists who have cultivated a deeply personal vision across their oeuvre and have been substantially engaged with the poetic sensibilities of art and art making.
The exhibition is on display October 3 - November 21, 2026. Public tours will be offered every Saturday at 2pm. As part of the Anniversary Festival program, these tours will be followed by musical and other art related performances.
